These examples provide an easy introduction to the topic 'Programming with STEP 7'. License encompasses: SIMATIC STEP 7 V5.5 SP1, S7-GRAPH V5.3 SP7, S7-SCL V5.3 SP6, S7-PLCSIM V5.4 SP5 and can be used for trial purposes for 14 days. But I think it's step 7 not step 7 professional. The manual is intended for people who are involved in carrying out control tasks using STEP 7 and SIMATIC S7 automation systems. you can download the step 7 from the following link and transfer your license and then it will work. 2 SIMATIC STEP 7 Basic software in TIA Portal as of V14 SP1 3 SIMATIC S7-1200 controller, e.g. The bits are defined in the STAT section of a function block and I want to simply move them into a Byte. I come from the Rockwell world and I am lost when it comes to Siemens software. Using Siemens Step 7, I and wanting to move 8 sequential bits into a Byte using the label instead if the direct address so that adding/removing variables will not cause me to need to readdress everything. Is the trial verion the same as the full blown Professional version with a trial license or is it limited on what I can do with it? If I download the trial, can I then transfer my professional license and make it the full version? Sorry if these are dumb questions.

I just tried downloading the trial version but had to register first and it says it could take a few days. The only things that dont work are the backward and frontward sensors. Now Im able to connect and control the PLC output A0.0 that move the slide forward. Is it possible to download the professional version of Step 7 5.5 from the Siemens website? I have a workstation that i'm upgrading this week and I want to transfer the license to the new PC I have the original activation dongle that I can move the activation to but can't find my installation DVD. I want to move it farward and read the sensors backward and farward.
